Crane's Story
W. Crane Cantrell, III was born in the mountains of Highlands, North Carolina where he lived until going to college at Auburn University. After graduating in 2010, Crane started his career in commercial real estate valuation in Atlanta, Georgia where he lived for 5 years until being lured to Chicago.
Katie's Story
Dr. Katie K. Longo was born in New York and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where she lived until going to college at the University of Florida. After graduating in 2010, Katie began her career in medicine. Katie matched in family medicine residency in Chicago where her, Crane, and Georgia lived together before heading back to put down roots in the Jacksonville area.
Our Story
We met in 2006, our freshman year at our respective universities. One of Crane's roommates/best friends/fraternity brothers (Chris Wood), was childhood friends with Katie from Jacksonville. Katie and Chris' group of childhood friends would come up to Auburn to watch the Tigers beat the Gators and Crane & Katie always hit it off during those trips. Fortunately, work sent Crane to Chicago for a week in August of 2015 where he and Katie reconnected. The following March, Crane was Chicago bound in a uHaul with Georgia riding shotgun. A little over a year after Crane moved we were engaged and now i'ts time to tie the knot!
